Having served the country meritoriously as Minister of State, Budget and National Planning from 2019 to 2023, commissioner for Environment and Lands Hon. Seid Oshiomhole believes sincerely that it is high time Prince Clem Ikanade Agba transfer that selfless national service to Edo State. Speaking to newsmen, Hon. Oshiomhole affirmed that Prince Clem Agba has been a tremendous public servant and steward who worked assiduously for the country in the area of national budget and planning the finances of the country to augment human, structural and infrastructural development. He is full of hope that Prince Agba would transform Edo State from what the state used to be to an enviable level in the country.
He attested that the experience of Clem Agba at the federal level would be handful in the development of Edo State, having garnered enough capacity building strategies that would be idealized into the administration of the state.
Prince Clem Agba has served Edo State both as Commissioner for the Environment and Public Utilities as well as serving as the Commissioner for Lands and Survey.
He also had tremendous corporate experience having worked with the likes of Pegasus Industries, Super Engineering, Gulf Oil Company now Chevron Nigeria Limited. He is an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the oil and energy industry. Prince Clem Agba is a dependable, reliable, hard-working, conscientious, honest, peace-loving and courteous.
He served excellently as Commissioner in Edo State and contributed massive value to the government; a core professional with extra ordinary resilience for achieving result.
A well-educated personality and extensively traveled, Prince Clem Agba is an alumni of W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University in the United States of America, University of Benin in Nigeria, Ambrose Alli University where she bagged a Bachelors of Science in Economic and St. John’s College, Fugar Edo State.
He is the founder of Clem Agba Foundation, a non-profit making organization her set up to create awareness on the silent killer Hepatitis. Providing free screening and free vaccination for Hepatitis. Prince Agba also served ad the Chairman of Oak Exclusive Designs.
At Chevron Nigeria Limited, Agba worked as Manager, Community Procurement Operations where he coordinated Local Content Procurement and Relationship with Host Communities. At the Edo State Ministry of Environment, he handled the Flood and erosion control, Forestry Management and Conservation, Urban Renewal and Beautification, and Sanitation and Pollution Management for the State.
Prince Clem Agba has been a party loyalist since 2006, from AC, to ACN and now APC. He has played a key role in the party and it’s turn to govern Edo state.
