… Seeks More Creativity, Commitment to Duty
The Lagos State Government has commenced a three-day training programme for 80 Auditors in the State Public Service with a charge for more creativity, proactiveness and commitment to enhanced service delivery.
The Permanent Secretary/Auditor-General for Unified Local Governments, Mr. Obafemi Ogunlana, gave the charge in his opening address at a three-day training programme held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ikeja, with the theme: “Synergy, Creativity and Proactiveness as Tools to Enhancing Teamwork and Understanding in Workplace”.
Ogunlana stated that the training was organised to introduce State Auditors to the concepts of synergy, creativity and proactiveness, thereby equipping them with adequate knowledge and improved communication skills for developing personal improvement plans and enhanced teamwork.
The Auditor-General also averred that the programme would provide participants with an understanding of mentoring, coaching and counselling in order to foster growth that would motivate and promote team performance.
