LASCOPA TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON BILL TO PROTECT CONSUMERS
The Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), will on Friday, November 12, 2021, hold a public hearing on a proposed bill that will protect the interest of consumers and ensure prompt settlement of consumer disputes and connected purposes.
Speaking on the Bill, the General Manager, Afolabi Solebo Esq, explained that the bill is consumer-oriented and is aimed at protecting the interest of all consumers, settlement of disputes as well as connected purposes, amongst other benefits.
According to him, the Public Hearing is scheduled to hold at the Lagos State House of Assembly Pavilion, Alausa, Ikeja at 10:00 am prompt on Friday, November 12, 2021
He, therefore, urged all invited stakeholders and interested citizens to avail themselves of the opportunity and be seated at the venue before the official commencement of the public hearing.
