Lagos police spokesman slams Ayo Maff’s new song for glorifying drug use|Blissful Affairs Online
The Lagos state police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, has expressed concerns over the explicit content in rising singer Ayo Maff’s new song, “Last Week”.
Hundeyin took to social media to criticize the song, highlighting the negative impact of drug use on young people.
The song’s lyrics celebrate drug use, with the artist openly bragging about consuming cannabis and running low on supplies by Saturday.
Hundeyin noted that half of the young people in prison are there due to drug abuse, which often leads to criminal behaviour.
