Congratulations madam, tell us your name as we like to get to know you?
I’m Senior prophetess Bola Ige, a Ministry of God and a gospel artist.

What are you doing here today?
Today I’m celebrating my 40th years of my calling to the altar of the almighty God as a prophetess and also launching my new album, being a gospell artist for more than three decade’s to God be all the glory.

What is the meaning of your album titled ‘*OBA NI*”?
Oba Ni as a title came to me due to I was inspired as a result of my own personal experience as a human being. I went through hell but God decided to intervene by pulling me out as I was already in *The grave* .
It’s only the king that has that power to pull somebody out of death, out of the pit of this world. That’s the reason I titled the album “*OBA NI”

What do you have to say to the almighty God that gave you this privilege to be able to celebrate a whole 40th anniversary on the altar and an album launch at the same time?
I will never in my life take God for granted as he has done exceedingly great things in my life. He has done alot to pull me out from the devil, as I was born and raised as a prophetess.
My parents and siblings and other family members were always watching over me as they were always quick to remind me that I’m a prophetess, hence I should been mindful and keep me on line with my calling as prophetess to be watchful what I say or do.

How long did it take you to put this album together?
My promoter (P.J Records) just called me up one day and said I should come to his studio and sing but I told them that I’ll come back to the studio they should let me go home first but he insisted I should come and so, today the rest is history.

How long have you been singing?
I’ve been a gospel artist for the past 31yrs now and that will be by November 2024.

What do you have to say to *P.J Records*?
I’m always short of words, I’ve never seen a man like P.J , I don’t call him P.J I call him *Papa* because I came to know him the moment I was deading. He told me I’m a great woman and he wants to know more about me, he told me to come to his office, I did and then he Introduced me to his staff’s, few days later he came to my house Introduced him to my daughter and he loves my entire family members, I also introduced him to my father-in-the-lord and the rest is history.

How do you compose your music, or they just come like that by the spirit or you just write?
Is divine as I don’t compose songs, I don’t even know how they compose songs, I do however receive from God, so when a message come from heaven usually they could be playing the instrument about the same time, so I get my phone and record while it comes.

Congratulations ma.
Thank you

Where are you from? I’m from Osun state, Obo Ilesha axis to be precise . I’m a niece to the late Bola Ige now of blessed and affectionate memories.
