Popular Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has warned of possible revolt by Nigerian masses in the event that the federal government further extends the lockdown order arising from the spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.

According to the cleric, Nigerians would react in an unusual manner if the lockdown is made to exceed the additional two weeks peg which expires on Monday 27th of April, 2020. Also, the cleric advised government to relax the restriction on religions so that churches and mosques are allowed to open with just 20 persons for services and support government with prayers to sweep away coronavirus from the land.

”This government does not listen to God’s warning. And I see serious crisis. I see Nigerians reacting unusually by defying government’s order and I see violence except the government is careful not to take the people for granted,” said Ayodele, adding that the Covid-19 arrangement would breed corruption, killing and even crisis between state and federal governments in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

Earlier in 2018, Primate Ayodele had delivered messages that revolve around the present global challenges. Apart from his warning of ”an impending disease that would shock the whole world”, the famous priest had foretold of crisis between the United States of America and the United Nations. He specifically said of the denial of funds by the American government to the World Health Organization, an important agency of the UN.

On page 194 of the 2018/2019 edition of his yearly prophecy handbook called ‘Warnings to The Nations’, the servant of God warned; ”The United States of America and the United Nations will have issues because their funds will be reduced by the USA.” True to God’s words, as a fallout of the Covid-19 global pandemic, America has stopped its support funding for the WHO.

Ayodele added that Nigerians should not expect the Coronavirus pandemic to be over this year, thereby government should not toy with the idea of extending the stay-at-home order except it has a plan to ground the country.

”Except government want trouble, because people will revolt, they must not extend the lockdown. Nigerians know how to look after themselves in any situation. Government must draw a plan on how to cater for the people because coronavirus will not fizzle out soon. They must relax the lockdown after April 27 and turn it to dusk to dawn curfew, allow businesses and worship centres to open, otherwise government be able to curtail the spread of the virus neither would the security agencies be able to contain the backlash.

Similarly, on page 2 of the 2019/2020 edition of the book, Ayodele said: ”I foresee hunger and anger during Buhari second term.” Truly, the economic downturn compounded by the Covid-19 lockdown has exposed the level of poverty in the country.

Other prophetic warnings delivered by Primate Ayodele whose fulfilment are now clear include the fire outbreak in Dugbe market in Ibadan, Oyo State documented on page 74 of the 2019/2020 edition of the book; the controversy woven round the introduction of 5G network and Covid-19, which is stated on page 120 of the 2019/2020 edition of the book, and the recent redeployments and appointments of GOCs in the Nigeria Army foretold on page 108.

Ayodele, who noted that his prayer water and anointing oil were introduced to aid government’s efforts at easing the burden of Coronavirus pandemic as well as preventing further escalation, warned that only those who believe in God’s message and pray well would be free from the covid-19 challenge.

There are other divine messages released in the book. On page 189 of the book under International Monetary Funds (IMF), the servant of God revealed that ”the IMF will assist many countries to overcome their financial and economic challenges.” The IMF has recently approved debt relief for 25 poor countries.

Also on page 192, under Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Ayodele stated that; ”the OPEC will have problems because in the global settings, the price of crude oil will crash.” On 7th of April, 2020, there was a report that due to Coronavirus pandemic, the fall of price of crude oil had destroyed the revenue projections of many OPEC members.
