Heavy security in Ibadan as Makinde takes oath office for second term {PHOTOS}

Security operatives have been stationed in strategic parts of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The areas include Sango, Roundabout, Mokola and Dugbe.

Other areas are; Oke Ado, Liberty Road and other areas.

This is due to the second term oath of office, state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and his deputy, Barrister Abdulrahman Adebayo Lawal, taking place today.

The event is currently taking place at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium located in Oke-Ado area of Ibadan.

The governor and his deputy had arrived at the inauguration venue as of the time of filing this report on Monday.
