COMMENCEMENT OF POLICE NATIONAL DAY 2026 CELEBRATION | Blissful Affairs Online 
The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, wishes to inform the general public of its readiness and participation in the forthcoming National Police Day 2026 celebration.
The Department also uses this medium to announce the commencement of activities marking this year’s event themed: “Community Partnership: Building Trust.”
In line with the theme, Community Partnership: Building Trust.” the AIG FCID Annex AIG Simeon U. Akpanudom psc fdc mspsp MNIM has outlined a series of activities to strengthen police–community relations, promote public safety, and appreciate the sacrifices and dedication of officers who continue to serve the nation with professionalism and commitment.
Scheduled Activities are as follows:
Monday, 30 March 2026
• Environmental Sanitation and Cleaning Exercise within the FCID Annex and its immediate surroundings.
• Medical Outreach Programme for members of the public.
Tuesday, 31 March 2026
• Walkathon for Peace and Public Safety aimed at fostering stronger police–community partnership.also for the officer physical and mental fitness
Wednesday, 1 April 2026
• Community Engagement and Sensitization Programme focusing on crime prevention, public safety awareness, and the strengthening of trust
Thursday, 2 April 2026
• Presentation of Cheques to families of fallen officers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty.
Tuesday, 7 April 2026 (Abuja)
• Grand Finale: Ceremonial Parade and Tactical Display.
