It was a day that will continue to linger on in the minds of those who attended the birthday bash of Amb. Cornel Udofia which took place penultimate week Monday, the 25th day of September,2023 at Kingscelia Hotel, Jibowu, Lagos.
It was a show of love, affection, camaraderie as so many people trooped into the venue to celebrate with a man who has made name and waves as a renowned Publicist, media guru, talent hunters, and someone that have worked to promote excellence in private and public service,by identifying and recognizing individuals in those sectors,celebrate and bestowed them with Awards as well empowering talents.
The event started with an opening prayer by Dr Blessings Alftred, while Dr Champion Onyekwelu anchored the event and was ably assisted by Chief Mike Osage.
Thereafter, people took turn to speak about the celebrant, Amb.Cornel Udofia, with words of prayer and good will messages to him. Some spoke of their encounters with him and how the incident changed their life for the better while others said meeting him at one point or the other change their mindsets about life and the need to be humble, Focus, Perseverance, Integrity, honest, hardworking, friendly and Empathic to one another as they described these great qualities as an Embodiment of Amb. Cornel Udofia which they said they have come to imbibe.
Among those that spoke glowingly about the celebrant included Sir Ezekiel Etim, CEO of Dunamis Energy drink, Actor’s Guild of Nigeria Chairperson Emeritus, Mrs Moji Oyetayo popularly known as Mama Ajasco of the Papa Ajasco TV Comedy series, Amb. Creg Mbadiwe (MFR) who flew in from Owerri to honor the celebrant whom he described as one of their own who has the promotion of Kingscelia Hotel to the Next level by Bringing too Quality guest from his Cornel Entertainment platform to do business with us and as su h we are very happy to Associate with his Quality Brand since 2016 and counting when we open for Business.
Colleagues, members of CMC and guests that also spoke described the celebrant as a good man who is always disposed to affect one’s life in a positive way, as they described him as a blessing to his Akwa Cross people But Nigeria as a whole .
The birthday cake was cut by the celebrant and ably supervised by the CEO of Dunamis Energy drink while Mama Ajasco did the toast where prayers for good health, long life, success and more strength to continue with his good work was offered to him.
In his speech, the Celebrant, Amb. Cornell Udofia who was given a New Brand Name Eleniyan Authentic by his Friends thanked all that have found time to come honour and merry with him on the occasion of his birthday. He particularly appreciated those that made early morning calls, text messages and words of felicitations in other social media platforms to send good will messages to him as well as those who had supported him in cash and material gifts in aid of his celebration.
He equally felicitated members of CMC gladiators whose birthday fall on the same day with him and the entire month of September.
He assured guests that CMC group will continue to work on areas of its specialization and synergize with relevant Organizations to move the country forward.
He reeled out the courtesy visits CMC gladiators have embarked upon to Security Agencies, govt.establishment, corporate entities since the beginning of the year to include 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Ikeja, Zone 2 Headquarters, Nigeria Police Force, Onikan, Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Security and civil Defense corps, The Nigerian Customs, The Nigeria Broadcasting commission, The Nigeria Correction Service, Lagos Office of the National Youth Service Corps, amongst others on ways together to project their activities and confidence building to the people.
He Dedicated the Plagues given to him during their courtesy visits on behalf of CMC by the Commander, 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen.AM Adetuyi and C. N. Njoku, Head of Federal Fire Service, Lagos to The CEO of Dunamis Energy drink, Sir. Ezekiel Etim to unveil the CMC foundation on behalf of other Group patrons
In respond, Sir Etim thanked him for the honour done to him and his Organization and pledged financial support for the foundation as he said Amb. Cornell Udofia is a great and wonderful personality to work with.
The birthday Celebration of the President and Founder of CMC gladiators, Amb. Cornell Udofia was indeed an Avenue for the Organization to discuss on how far they have gone, the way forward and the prospects for them as guests and members used the opportunity to dwell on burning issues that affected it.
