He also led the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Abuja, one of the Police Force’s most tactical and intelligence-driven units tasked with combating armed robbery, kidnapping, and organized crime nationwide. His tenure at the IRT was widely regarded as result-oriented, delivering major breakthroughs in crime detection, intelligence gathering, and coordinated enforcement actions.
In addition, he served as Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, where he provided firm leadership in overseeing security operations within the nation’s capital and reinforcing the broader security architecture.
