Ayodele Lists Three Major Obstacles to Tinubu’s 2027 Ambition | Blissful Affairs Online
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has shared his views on the political outlook ahead of the 2027 presidential election, highlighting three key factors he believes could influence the re-election prospects of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking during his annual Thanksgiving celebration held on Friday, February 14, 2026, the cleric addressed congregants, journalists, and invited guests, offering spiritual and political insights concerning the nation’s future.
According to Primate Ayodele, the first major factor is what he described as widespread public dissatisfaction. He stated that many Nigerians are displeased with the President’s policies and leadership style, noting that this sentiment could significantly affect political outcomes if not addressed.
Secondly, he pointed to what he termed “nemesis,” suggesting that certain past political actions and decisions may be resurfacing to challenge the President’s political standing. He emphasized that leadership requires reflection and corrective measures to avoid unintended consequences.
The third factor, he noted, involves internal political dynamics. Primate Ayodele alleged that some individuals within the current administration may not be fully supportive of the President’s long-term political ambition, warning that internal division can weaken any government’s re-election strategy.
Beyond politics, the cleric also spoke about sports, expressing optimism about Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the next FIFA World Cup. He stated that with determination, strategic effort, and national support, the Nigeria national football team could still secure a place at the global tournament.
The Thanksgiving event was marked by charitable gestures, as Primate Ayodele presented cars to selected journalists and church members as part of his annual outreach and appreciation initiative.
As political activities gradually build toward 2027, Ayodele’s remarks are expected to generate conversations across political and religious circles regarding governance, unity, and national progress.
