President Muhammadu Buhari has applauded Nigerians for tolerating him and giving him the leadership opportunity.

Buhari disclosed this on Friday when residents of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, paid him Sallah homage.

He begged for forgiveness from Nigerians who might have been hurt while he was carrying out his constitutional responsibility as President in the past eight years.

Buhari added that he cannot wait to go home, far away from Abuja.
