As the rage continues and the brouhaha unquestionable about the newly introduced 5G network the whole world is in fear whether it’s going to bring good tidings or otherwise.
According to research 5G network is the fifth generation of wireless communications technologies supporting cellular data networks. Large scale adoption began in 2019 and today virtually every telecommunication service provider in the developed world is upgrading its infrastructure to offer 5G functionality.
However, one of the popular Nigerians fighting for its non existence in the country is Senator Dino Melaye. The very outspoken and popular politician has gone as far as social media to campaign against the new advancement in telecommunication technology.
Melaye recently took to his Twitter account to announce and condemn the new network which we gathered is about entering into the country. In his tweets, Dino posted:
The widely believed fact about this new technology is its link with the present almighty Coronavirus. There’s a believe that once 5G network is installed there will be pandemonium and many sicknesses will occur which will increase death rate. This myth only has been discouraging many Nigerians
