Popular man of God and founder/spiritual head at INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has been honoured with an Honorary Citizenship of South Carolina.

Primate Ayodele, whose spiritual and humanitarian activities have continued to change lives across Nigeria and abroad, we learned, received the honour at a private ceremony following one of his pastoral campaigns recently.

The award of citizenship, according to a statement from the South Carolina authorities obtained by this medium, is a reward given based solely on Ayodele’s humanitarian services rendered via his divine mission.
Meanwhile, on Friday, June 8th, 2018, the foremost prophet of God hosted his ministry’s latest empowerment conference where 10,000 less privileged members of the public and church workers were empowered in various aspects.
It was a youth-focused revival/vigil for rehabilitation, empowerment, prayers, music ministration, lectures, counseling, healing and deliverance for the youths from various part of the country.
The focus of the all-night crusade-cum-empowerment programme tagged ‘Nigerian Youth, Our Future’, was the group of young men and ladies considered to be of little or no value to the society. They are mainly chronic smokers, drug addicts, drunks and others challenged in various forms, including young women in prostitution of which more than 30 have benefitted in the past.
According to Primate Ayodele, “this kind of programme is a further manifestation and demonstration of our concern and determination to continue impacting and rehabilitating the youths that are into drugs and hard substances abuse.”
At the programme which was organized by the INRI Youth Ministry in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), lives were restored as many met with their salvation at the crusade venue in Ilasamaja, Lagos. Characteristics of the servant of God, Primate Ayodele, most of the reformed persons were also empowered in their respective area of skills in order to be socially and financially stable while some were awarded scholarships to different levels of academic knowledge.
Lectures and sermons were given by a list of dignitaries and Ministers of God on such subjects as unsettled homes,
drugs & substances abuse, cultism, single parenting among various other social vices and challenges.
There were testimonies as the revival progressed, of some youth who after many years finally were able to sit for WAEC, JAMB and other promotional examinations. Some at the venue received micro-credit support for small scale businesses, while some benefitted from the skills acquisition programme in artisanship. There were also those that had slept under bridges and makeshift shelters who were blessed with decent accommodations.
Music ministration was offered by star Gospel singer, Evangelist Bunmi Akinnanu Adeoye a.k.a Omije Oju Mi; Dele Sax and INRI Music Ministry.
In the words of the servant of God, “it is my resolve through the grace of God that the glory of the Nigerian youth must shine under whatever socio-economic chalkenges and other unfavourable conditions they may find themselves.”
