The Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan today saluted the exceptional Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Zone 1 Kano, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali on his new promotion and appointment as the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG representing North-Central Zone. The promotion which was announced by the Police Service Commission (PSC) called him to higher lever of professionalism and zero tolerance for corruption.

 

The Chairman/CEO of Executive Group, Dr. Ogunsan in his congratulatory statement made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, hails the former AIG of Zone 2 (Lagos and Ogun), AIG Ari Mohammed Ali stated: ‘You are an unstoppable achiever, a professional to the core, and a super-productive leader.’

‘Just within 1 year that you left your role as AIG Zone 2 in Lagos, you have excelled as AIG in charge of Community Policing at the Force HQ in Abuja and as AIG in charge of Zone 1 (Kano and Jigawa states).’

 

‘You have an excellent performance. I am sure that you are primed again for excellence in this new role. I believe that you will elevate the security operations in North Central zone in terms of operations, administration, crime fighting, and community peace building.’

 

‘I wish you well as you start out on this new phase. Your zone is looking forward to having you. The Nigeria Police Force wants you to deliver. The Police Service Commission expects the best from you. I believe that the Lord God Almighty will help you.’

The Police Service Commission announced the promotion and appointment of AIG Ari Mohammed Ali as Deputy Inspector General of Police to replace DIG Ade Ayuba today 19th November. DIG Ayuba retired from service today. AIG Ali hails from Nasarawa state in the North Central region of the country.

 

The PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd mni, called for professionalism and zero tolerance for Corruption from the new DIG. DIG Argungu said the Commission will encourage the new DIG to fall in line with the Commission’s vision for a Police Force that is professional and accountable to the Nigerian people.

 

DIG Argungu said the new PSC is building a new Police that will be a pride of the Nigeria people, free of corruption but full of vigor and determination to serve. He congratulated DIG Ari Mohammed Ali and charged him to go and give his best in the service of his fatherland.
