The INI LGA Community in Lagos is set to launch a twenty-five million (#25,000,000) naira Livelihood Enhancement and Empowerment Programme on 16th November, 2025 by 12 noon in Lagos, with the theme: “ENHANCING LIVES THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ”
The event will take place at the AKISCOM Plaza, 4 Adedapo Street, Tejuosho, Surulere, Lagos under the Chairmanship of Akparawa ( Engr.) Elijah Essien Ewe and will be Co-chaired by Mr Anthony Ita .
According to the President of INI LGA Community, Lagos, Akparawanwan (Evang) Pat Ukwoh, while speaking to newsmen during a stakeholders meeting at the weekend to announce the coming event, said it is aimed at boosting and supporting the entrepreneurial endeavors of the indigenes who will be the direct beneficiaries of the empowerment as well as assisting households in mitigating the adverse economic realities that have impacted negatively on them and which is being faced by Nigerians
She further stated that the gesture of identifying with the economic and business needs of INI indigenes has been the trademark of the Community especially during her leadership and that it has helped them in community engagement and participation.
She said; “as a leader, i must show empathy to our indigenes who are dedicated and are patriotic to the cause of our community, one of which is to ensure that they are given the necessary support to carry on in life and expand their business outfits.
According to her,the Empowerment program is in line with the ARISE AGENDA of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno and the U RISE ,WE RISE of Hon. Inibehe Umah respectively.
The program details indicated that Hon ( Dcn.) Lawrence Udoide, Member – Ini State Constituency,AKHA will be the Special Guest of Honour, while Obong Brian Efa will be the Principal Launcher and Mkpisong (Obong) Ndaeyo Nyaudo will be the Guests of Honour amongst other dignitaries already lined up to grace the occasion.
Fathers of the Day will be Obong Elijah Ifot JP and Chief ( Dr) Edet Ambang , Mothers of the Day are Dr Offiong Ofor and Pastor (Mrs) Joy Obukpo while the Chief host will be the Executive Chairman of INI LGA, Hon Inibehe Umah and Akparawanwan (Evang) Pat Ukwoh is the host.
Evang Pat Ukwoh acknowledged the contributions of INI Sons, Daughters and friends of the Community who have made significant financial and material contributions to the success of the program in previous years and once again appeal to them and others to also identify and show support to the Community during the coming program through their generous donations.
It is noteworthy that INI LGA Community, Lagos has been noted for her yearly empowerment or welfare programs for her indigenes resident in Lagos and other South Western States, which have helped them to improve and expand on their economic base, forge a sense of belonging and create an atmosphere of harmony in the Community.
The coming event by INI LGA Community in Lagos promises to be another interesting one as many indigenes will also benefit from the exercise financially and otherwise.
INI LGA indigenes, friends, and the general public are therefore invited to grace this mega program that is aimed at empowering and enhancing lives.
