LAGOS NSCDC VISITS HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE | Blissful Affairs Online

keshinro vows to compliment ministry’s efforts in enhancing food security in the state .

The Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs Ruth Abisola Olusanya was visited, today, Monday, 23rd September, 2024, by a team of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officers including; the Head of Agro Rangers Unit, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Assistant Commandant of Corps Nathaniel Koshi, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin and the Protocol Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Olufemi Thomas.

The NSCDC team warmly received, by the Honourable Commissioner and commended for the visit, duely relayed, the message of the Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro to the Honourable Commissioner and affirmed that the Corps will continue to compliment the efforts of the Ministry in order to enhance food security in the state amidst other critical responsibilities and efforts that are being undertaken by the Lagos State Government through the Ministry in various communities.

The Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture in Lagos State, Mrs Ruth Abisola Olusanya commended the Command for its robust stakeholders’ engagement approach especially, through the BI – MONTHLY PUBLIC RELATIONS CLINIC being held to create solutions to security issues before they escalate and she also drummed, her support for the 3rd edition of the initiative scheduled, to hold on Wednesday, 9th October, 2024 prior to the World Food Day, often celebrated, on 16th October of every year and marks the 45th anniversary of its founding this year.
