Breaking: kidnapped police officer rescued by Matawalle government.
A divisional police officer in charge of Magami division under Gusau local government who was kidnapped five days ago Asp Usman Aliyu has been rescued un hurt by newly inaugurated community protection guards.
Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle thanked Almighty Allah for the life of the abducted police officer, adding that ” the newly inaugurated community protection guards have just began to discharge the responsibilities reposed on them.
It maybe recall that, governor Matawalle in his efforts to totally wipe away banditry and other crimes in the state, this week distributed 1, 500 motorcycle and 20 Hilux Vehicles equipped with communication gadgets to the Community protection guards to respond to any security threat in the state
