…His lackadaisical behaviour on matters, bad human relations attitude
…The role of Ogun PPRO DSP Oyeyemi, Inspector Badmus in the case
A good leader in any community is suppose to be a peace maker and look for a way to settle issues amicably in the community or anywhere peace is found wanting but the reverse is the case on Honourable Ladi Adebutu.
Ladi Adebutu’s lackadaisical behaviour and poor human relations made him to loose Ogun state governorship PDP ticket to Prince Buruji Kashamu because he was not humble enough to allow them settle the matter out of court.
Remember, Kashamu utter a statement which is becoming to manifest now that “Ladi is not his match in all ramifications of life, he is living on his father’s glory, that he can’t run a community successfully and he wants to govern Ogun State”. That’s a story for another day.
Just last week, Ladi’s PDP faction organized a peace meeting with other factions in the state but all is just a jamboree as the news you are about to read with let you know that he is not a peace maker at all.
As we speak, the people in Ofada are not happy with themselves over a transformer he donated to them and he commissioned the same transformer in two different places.
Lado as he is fondly called donated a transformer to Ofada ward in Ofada, obafemi Owode and he commissioned it on Nov. 21st 2018.
Same transformer was taken away by some PDP ward Exco’s on Aug 6, 2019 on the instruction of one party leader Oyetunji as claimed by the culprits.
When they were removing the transformers
However, the people in that community reach out to Lado to inform him about what happened but due to his normal ” I don’t care attitude”, he never bothered about it.
Members in the community took to their heels and went to complain at the police station, the transformer was recovered by Ogun State PPRO. DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi who is also staying around the area and in need of a transformer.
DSP Oyeyemi and Inspector Badmus demanded for certain amount from the community but they refuse to pay, the PPRO just took the transformer to his own community which is totally different from where it was commissioned by Lado.
Again, the community people reach out Hon. Ladi Adebutu to come to their aid and settle the matter but he never did, which forced the community to write a petition to AIG in FIICD ALABGON and Onikan.
The next thing the community saw on Sunday August 25th, 2019 from Ladi whom they held in high esteem and still believing he will come and make peace and profound solution is to come and commission the transformer again at the new area the PPRO DSP Oyeyemi took it too.
Before the commissioning, our editor called Hon. Ladi several times but no response, a copy of the below sms was sent to him :
Our Attention has been drawn to a transformer you donated to a ward in Ofada, obafemi Owode and commissioned by you on Nov. 21st 2018. Same transformer was taken away by some PDP ward Exco on Aug 6, 2019 on the instruction of baba Oyetunji as claimed by the culprits. The same transformer was recovered by Ogun State PPRO and he now took it to his own community which is totally different from where it was commissioned by you. We learn that you are coming to re- commission the same transformer again tomorrow Sunday 25th August, 19. The dispute transformer case is already b4 FIICD ALABGON. Please sir, we advise you not to get involve in such acts as it will detriment you image and personality, it will also make the news on Monday sir. Thank you sir. My name is Ayo-Mojoyin … I write for The City Pulse News.
The size of the transformer is 500/33KV/0.415V, the initial area it was first commissioned is Ire – Akari and Mosadoluwa Community Development Association Ofada and was later taken to ITA Odo of Bisodun Area, Ogun State.
The Company paid to install the transformer for where it was initially commissioned is November Eighteen Technology and investment company limited. A letter was written to them 10th January 2019.
Lado for record purpose commissioned the transformer again at the PPRO DSP Oyeyemi area “Bisodun” Ogun state. because they were unable to meet with DSP’s demand and Lado failed to broker peace.
