The United Nations has announced the leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele as the first black man to be given the united nations mediator role to mark its 75th anniversary.
This occurred in the flag-off ceremony yesterday, 14th of February, 2020 in the presence of the big wigs in the country that cut across politicians, musicians, and clerics. It was held at the popular INRI Evangelical spiritual
church, Isolo, Lagos state.
It was also revealed that a street will be named after him in Abuja, a diplomatic plate number and I.D Card will be given to him and there will be unlimited access to the international community.
The event had the likes of Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, ably represented by his commissioner for religious affairs, the ooni of ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Mayegun of Yorubaland, Chief Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, The World peace president, Ambassador Per Stafen, the country director, South Africa, Amb. Dr Chinedu Anthony, World Peace Spokesperson, Amb. Dr Emmanuel Nkweke, Fuji maestro, Muri Thunder, to mention a few.
The Lagos state governor in his speech explained that it delighted him to have received the delegation of the United Nations in his state and it is a thing of joy to realize that Lagos state was chosen as the place to flag off the united Nations 75th anniversary. He noted that as Lagos state is a peace loving state, he will do all in his capacity to work with the united nations for the progress of peace in the world at large.
While addressing the audience, the world peace president made it known that this will be the first time an event like this will be happening in Lagos and it was only successful because of the reception they received from Primate Elijah Ayodele. He also noted that the reception the united nations received has made him know that the step they have taken is the right one.
The Mayegun of yorubaland and king of fuji music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly called K1 De Ultimate addressed the crowd by appreciating the man of God, Primate Elijah Ayodele and the many works he has done. He went back memory land, making it known that he has known the man of God for 35 years and he has never for once lost respect for him.
He revealed that whenever Primate Elijah Ayodele wanted to pass a prophecy across to him, he would write it and seal it before sending to him, yet, he has never for once called him to request for any kind of benefit, he has done all for the sake of the gospel. He further went into singing for Primate Elijah Ayodele as his birthday was February 14 too.
However, the height of his speech was when he pledged N4million for the less privileged and promised to sponsor some people to the holy lands of Jerusalem and Mecca
Primate Elijah Ayodele, in his usual philanthropic, also gave out three keke napep, millions of naira, jamb forms, televisions, mattresses, to mention a few.
