CJPAN Holds 7th Annual General Meeting & Award Ceremony — November 20th| Blissful Affairs Online
All things being equal, preparations have been finalized for the 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Award Ceremony organized by the Celebrity Journal Publishers Association of Nigeria (CJPAN). The highly anticipated event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 20, 2025, at the prestigious Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, beginning at 12 noon.
This year’s edition promises to be unique and impactful, with the central theme:
“Strengthening the Voice of Celebrity Journalism in the Digital Era.”
Renowned activist, author, serial entrepreneur, and motivational speaker, Mr. Somi Uranta, will serve as the Guest Speaker, bringing his wealth of knowledge to bear on the subject as he addresses stakeholders in the media industry.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mrs. Funmi Olowosegun, President of the noble association, revealed that deserving personalities who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields will be honored with awards during the ceremony.
In addition, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, a prominent Nigerian, philanthropist, and newly appointed Executive Secretary/ CEO, Lagos State Security Trust Fund By Governor Sanwo Olu will be officially decorated as the Grand Patron of the association.
President Olowosegun expressed her deep appreciation to the banks, corporate bodies, and individuals who have continuously supported CJPAN since its inception.
> “As an Oliver Twist, we are asking for more support to enable us to do greater exploits in the journalism arena in the coming year,” she stated.
She also used the opportunity to wish all members and partners a safe and successful transition through the ember months into the new year.
