Chief Ossai Is The Only One Leader Of Ohaneze Lagos,” Ndi-Eze.|Blissful Affairs Online

Amidst pending litigation over the leadership tussle in the Lagos Chapter of the Pan-Igbo social cultural organization (Ohaneze), the body of Ndi-Eze Lagos State – during a press conference organized in Lagos on Tuesday – to clear the air on the two factions and throw their support behind the only one President.
Eze Ndigbo Ikosi/Isheri, Eze Ambassador Remi Anyamele, who doubles as the Secretary General, Council of Ndieze Lagos State, and Eze Nicholas Njoku Eziokwubundu, Eze Ndi-Igbo of Ejigbo, were the first to take the stage to express their solidarity with the ‘only one president,’ Chief Sunday Ossai.
They avowed that there can never be two presidents because the single term of four years tenure of office, for the erstwhile president of the organization, Lagos State Chapter, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene has ended and the constitution of Ohaneze does not allow tenure elongation for any position whatsoever.
Hence, their publicized support and avowal on “Only one Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Presidency, which is under the leadership of Chief Sunday Ossai we stand”.
They went on to disclose that the press conference became necessary in order to refute the claims of Chief Solomon, who still parades himself as the leader of the organization: “The action of the erstwhile president can be alluded to the sit-tight syndrome synonymous to African leaders,” they lamented.
The Ndi-Eze Lagos State made a clarion call to everyone – not just the Igbo – to fight against the temptation of power drunkenness among leaders, as it contradicts the concept of continuity. They also clarified the claim made by Aguene wherein he is parading himself as the only person who has the consent of court, which he obtained through an ex parte injunction to lead.
Also, Chief Mike Orji, Chairman of Chairmen, Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Lagos State, Chief Everest Ozonweke-South West Coordinator of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo and Chief Robert Obasi, Secretary General Ohaneze Ndi- Igbo, Lagos State Chapter, expressed their solidarity with the leadership of Chief Ossai whom they confirmed to be their authentic President.
“Chief Ossai’s legitimacy as president of the organization in Lagos, is hinged on the fact that The President General of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who took up the mantle of leadership after the death of the former President General, late Professor George Obiozo has come to Lagos on more than two occasions to confirm Chief Ossai as the one and in de facto president in Lagos,” they proclaimed.
