
… As CP Assures LASG of Maximum Support from Lagos Police Command
Lagos Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN, has received the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Abiodun Alabi and his team, who were on a courtesy visit to his office at the Ministry of Justice, Alausa, Ikeja.
Onigbanjo, speaking during the visit, appreciated the Police for effectively tackling the security challenges facing the State, stressing that the Ministry will ensure vigorous quarterly training exercise for Prosecutors, IPOs and DPOs in the State and also support the Command in the dispensation of its duties to ensure a smooth administration of justice across the Lagos metropolis.
Responding, the new State Commissioner of Police, CP. Abiodun Alabi commended the Attorney-General and the Ministry of Justice for the continued synergy with the Lagos State Police Command in justice delivery.
Assuring continued collaboration with the State Government, through the Ministry, in ensuring that the legal rights of all suspects are protected under the law, CP Alabi promised to explore all available strategies in enhancing the criminal justice system in Lagos State.
