2700 LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN STRUCTURED TRAINING PROGRAMME

The Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye, has disclosed that 2700 eligible officers participated in the Unified Local Government Service Revised Structured Training Programme held between 5th and 7th July 2022, at seven designated venues across the State.

Bamgboye reiterated that the Revised Structured Training Programme (RSTP) was introduced to support capacity building and promotion of eligible, competent and productive officers.

He envisaged that the Structured Training Programme (STP) would berth global human resources best practices in the Civil Service and consolidate the merit-based system for performance management as well as enhanced productivity in the Unified Local Government Service.
