The Lagos based lawyer while narrating his experience with his bank said: “I went to my bank this morning, just to get my bank mobile app to work after spending two hours on it before it became apparent that its network issue with the bank. According to Ubani, “the government of President Muhammed Buhari is not showing competence as one who is in charge. The economic situation is hard and the level of poverty is very high. President Buhari has closed his ears to the sufferings or the cries of the people instead of listening and does certain things that will ease their pains and frustrations. It’s very bad that since Nigeria got political independence, the poor masses haven’t enjoyed anything.

You can see the high level of poverty, there’s hunger in the land, you can see that people are suffering and businesses are collapsing, no electricity, taxation is killing industrialist.

Even those of us in the professions; the situation is hard, we are struggling. The economic climate is harsh. Nothing much has improved for the betterment of the people”.

The lawyer called on Nigerians to vote for the right people come 2023 as there are so many things wrong with Nigeria. “We want people with patriotic zeal to come in 2023 to change the course of event; leadership and destiny of Nigeria. We need the kind of leadership that will turn the economy around. The right kind of leadership that will rise up, know and understand the political potentials in this country, fix the structure, greed and the way things work here that’s affecting the growth of this country. To change the will, you and I have a role to play; register, get your voters card, join a political party and vote. Let’s take the bold step to reconstruct this country structurally” he said.

It will be recalled that, the human right activist was the Chairman of the occasion at the just held seventh edition of Trek Africa National Discourse and Awards organized by Trek Africa Newspaper held at Golden Gate, Ikoyi and won the ‘Trek Africa Legal Personality of the year’ award category at the event.
