LSCPWB COMMENCES DISTRIBUTION OF WELFARE MATERIALS
The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) has commenced the distribution of welfare materials to intending pilgrims for the year 2022 pilgrimage to Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan, which is expected to commence from July 3 to July 12, 2022.
Speaking at an event held at Ikeja, the Board Secretary of LSCPWB, Mrs. Florence Yetunde Gbafe, stated that the provision of welfare materials was undertaken to ensure the comfort and well-being of all intending pilgrims, noting that exercise is unique to the Agency in comparison with other pilgrimage operators.
Mrs. Gbafe further stated that preparations are at an advanced stage for a hitch-free pilgrimage that will enhance and regenerate the spiritual life of the intending pilgrims.
She, therefore, admonished the participants to conduct themselves well during the exercise as the State has put in efforts to ensure their physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Some of the welfare materials provided include travelling boxes, clothing materials, stationery, mufflers, fez caps and cardigans among others.
