As part of rebranding initiatives for its personnel, the General Manager of Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Ifalade Oyekan, has advised the Corps Officers to move the security outfit to the next level.Prince Oyekan gave the advice before commencement of the qualifying examination for over 350 officers to the post of Corps and Deputy Corps Superintendents at the Agency’s Headquarters in Oshodi on Thursday.While noting that the examination was organised to choose the most capable hands among the officers qualified for the available posts, he reiterated the Governor’s commitment to the security of lives and property which is the sixth pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the present administration.The General Manager also emphasised the need to continuously evaluate senior officers before they assume vital positions as it is crucial to efficient output among the corps officers when on the field.Recall that a similar examination was carried out for the post of Divisional Commanders as part of efforts to ensure that those that are fit and imbued with leadership qualities are evaluated and selected on the basis of performance.The LNSA under the leadership of Prince Oyekan had, on assumption of office, unveiled a master plan to re-strategise the Agency to enhance delivery as intelligent gatherers and community policing.OD/TMS/OS
