LAGOS VALUATION OFFICE COMMENCES VALUATION OF LASWA PROPERTY
The Lagos State Valuation Office (LASVO) has commenced the valuation of all Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) fixed assets across the State.
A statement signed by the Director, LASVO, Esv. Adekunle G. Awolaja, revealed that the exercise which began on Tuesday, 12th October, 2021, will last until month-end.
He disclosed that the Office, in collaboration with three Consultants, will carry out the exercise at about 51 locations in Lagos, adding that Terminals and Jetties of LASWA would also be included in the assessment.
Esv. Awolaja explained that the primary objective of the exercise is to identify and locate all Property, Plants and Equipment (PPE) of LASWA, ascertain their condition, determine their economic worth in monetary terms and proffer recommendations for optimising usage of such assets.
