The Elder Council of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo of Lagos state has suspended chief John Uche from the Igbo pan African group from all it activities because he has been found wanting from activities unhealthy to the development of the Igbo cultural group in the state In a press released signed by it Elders councils made available to the media on the 30th June 2020 in Lagos stated that after thorough investigation on all the activities of chief john Uche, the Elders council found Chief john Uche guilty of all the allegation against him, they said they discovered that he is the one sponsoring fake certificate allegation on the President of the ohanaeze Ndigbo of Lagos state, chief Solomon ogbonna

They laments that the negative media report against the president of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo of Lagos, has been investigated to be false In the elders council agreement statements signed by the 10 members of the council made available to the media stated that the allegation made by Chief john Uche is mischief and inconsequential baseless allegation which can results to sentiments among the united members of the Ndigbo in Lagos state

The elders council members said the allegation ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE Ohanaze Ndigbo ON his academic certificate is uncalled for as the requirement for anyone to be the Ohanaeze of Igbo does not require stringent qualification but the various contribution made to the development of the Ndigbo and to propagate the culture and believes of the Igbo in the community

The Elders frown at the various activities of Chief John Uche who happen to be one of the pioneer of the Ohanaeze of Igbos in Lagos state to be aimed at destabilized the culture of the Igbos worldwide The Elder’s Council said there was no time that the president of the Ohanaeze presented any fake Certificate to be the Ohanaeze president because such certificate is not needed to be the Igbo leader in the state Chief John Uche is however advised to give details explanation to all the Igbos in the state why he decided to trade in the part of disrespect to the stool of the leaders of Igbos in the state

They also warned that the Ohanaeze position is not a political office where anyone will come for or to promotes political ambitions for anyone in the state, the elders council said they are not political group or body but one family bounded with culture and norms of the Igbo The Ohanaeze Ndigbo members in Lagos state however warned chief john Uche to be very careful of all his conduct because what he embarked upon will not yield positive results to the general believe and focus of the Nigeria cultural group in the country.
