EXPO: A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IN COURT FOR REFUSING TO PAY A CAR HE BOUGHT FOR HIS GIRLFRIEND.

An Upper Sharia Court III sitting in Gusau, north-west Nigeria has ordered one Basira Musa, allegedly to be a girlfriend a member of the House of Representatives Kabiru Mai Palace representing Gusau /Tsafe Federal Constituency to stop using a car purchased for her by the Reps member.

The order was issued in a letter signed by a Principal Registrar of the Shariah Court Nasir Gusau in which Basira Musa was instructed not to use, hire, temper with the structure of the car, sell or give out the “End of Discussion Honda 2006 model car” to anybody, pending the ruling of the case brought before the court by the owner of the car one Usama Muazu seeking the court to compel the House of Reps member Hon Kabiru Mai Palace alleged to be her boyfriend to pay the car.

The car was purchased from the dealer since 2021 by the Hon Kabiru Mai Palace and requested the alleged girlfriend to collect the car, but refused to pay after series of promises to do so.

Investigations by this medium revealed that the Reps member has been sponsoring same Basira Musa to Saudi Arabia for Umara and Dubai for Picnic along with him.

Basira Musa was a wife of a one time member of the Zamfara state House of Assembly, but divorced due to her extra – marital relationship with the Hon Kabiru Mai Palace.

It was also discovered that the Reps in a series of this kind of scandals involving over twenty cars he bought for other girlfriends and his supporters but refused to pay the owners of the cars and are in several courts and some security agencies seeking justice.

It may be recalled that the accused member of the House of Representatives is currently in the EFCC net for alleged 419 cases involving billions of naira for fake contracts from the National Assembly.
