Edo North leaders denies endorsing Dennis Idahosa
As Edo 2024 APC Primary elections is fast approaching, a lot of aspirants have been canvassing for votes from all 18 Local Government areas of the states. Most party chairmen received all the aspirants and promised to work with each of them.
Its shocking that Dennis Idahosa has been claiming that he has been endorsed by Edo North, to the amusement of some party leaders.
The Edo North APC has not endorsed any particular candidates and they want a free and fair election.
In a chat with Mr. Mommoh a stalwart of APC in Edo north said we are tired of been in the opposition and we want the best candidate to win. We are against imposition by any leader and we also don’t want any person with questionable character to emerge as our party flag bearer. Let all aspirant go to the field and test their popularity. We have not endorsed Dennis Idahosa
It will be recalled that Adams
Oshiomole has been trying to impose Dennis Idahosa a former commissioner who was booted out of Oshiomhole’s government for an alleged fraud case by Adams Oshiomole in 2015, but the same Oshiomole is backing him up. Just like the case of 2020, were the PDP used Oshiomole’s utterances against APC flagbearer as a campaign strategy, which worked for the PDP and gave them landslide victory.
Party leaders, doesn’t want the same scenario to happen again, reason for wanting the best candidate with no criminal allegations, popularity among the electorates, a tested and trusted politician, that will make Edo great again. APC has also released a statement to debunk the alleged endorsement of Dennis Idahosa
