Late SP Abubakar Musa
Divisional Police Officer, DPO, SP Abubakar Musa collapsed dead inside his office in Jahun Local Government Area, Jigawa state.
State police spokesperson DSP Luan Shisu Adamu, who confirmed the death in a statement on Saturday, said the accident occurred on Friday evening at around 9:00 pm at the DPO’s Jahun Division office after a protracted illness.
Adamu said, “S.P. Abubakar Musa died last night around 9pm while discharging his official duty.
He explained that the deceased was rushed to Jahun General Hospital and Rashid Shekoni General Hospital and later to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
State Commissioner of Police, CP. Emmanuel Ekot Effiom comforted the family of the deceased and the Nigerian police.
According to Within Nigeria, it was recall that SP Mojeed Salami, a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Seme Police Division in Lagos State, collapsed and died at work on Tuesday, January 10.
According to police sources, on that day the deceased complained of a headache and went to the hospital before the tragic incident
