Hon Adewale Temitope Adedeji, representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly has donated 800 loaves of bread, and 100 grates of eggs to members of his constituency through the CDC.l and CDAs. Hon. Temitope said the gesture is to complement the efforts of the state government in donating relief materials to people during the lockdown.
According to him, the donated items should be distributed with priority for the old, aged and vulnerable members of the society.
Hon Temitope assured that no member of his constituency would go to bed hungry. He also called on residents to obey all government directives and instructions, as well as maintain social distancing.
CDC Chairman, Pastor Samuel Olu Opajobi and some of the CDA chairmen who spoke with our correspondent during the distribution express appreciation for the donations which they say will go a long way in ensuring they stay at home and stay alive while fighting this deadly disease that has no respect for anyone.
His intervention, they submitted, will go a long way to help the elderly especially.
