Popular Lagos Based Celebrity Journal Publishers’ Association of Nigeria, CJPAN on Thursday 23rd of June 2022 officially launched the Cleaner Lagos Campaign, a CSR Initiative aimed at supporting the activities of the Lagos State Government and the Street sweepers within Lagos metropolis

The first gear of this Initiative stated to be an awareness about the needs for continuation to keep our environment clean and CJPAN massive support to the good works being done by the street sweepers who has always being our heroes for their exceptional committment in ensuring the state wears the mega city to look as its being positioned by the government.

The event which was in partnership with LAWMA kicked off at Agege local government area in which some prominent celebraties registered their presence in the like Reggae musician known as King Wadada and Popular Nollywood Actor, fondly called Hakeem Raman were fully on ground as the real CJPAN face of the brand ambassador for the laudable, commendable Initiative.

Speaking at the event, the President of the Association, Mr. Joshua Uloko noted that CJPAN intends the Initiative as a quarterly project to give back to the society that has given so much to every single member of the association. He used this opportunity to call on people of like minds to join hands to support the efforts of the state government in building the Cleaner mega city that will become a pride of both lagostians and visitors alike.

Saying further, he used this medium to appeal and also called on other well-meaning Lagosians to join hands with CJPAN to make this initiative a more sustainable and unending project

The head of environmental Sanitation at the local government was at a time perplexed because he has never seen such move from a Journalists before while he was full of praise for the members of the association, noting that its the first time a media organisation would be doing something of such within his jurisdictions and Lagos at large.

Apart from engaging in the cleaning, the Initiative would be rewarding some outstanding Street sweepers with gifts to encourage them to do more subsequently.
