… Procures Ambulance, Security Vehicles for Community

The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, on Wednesday marked his administration’s 100 Days in Office, assuring all residents of the LCDA that he will continue to prioritise the interest of the good people of Eredo in every policy and programme.

Speaking at the event held within the Council Secretariat, Akinloye expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for His abundant mercy and kindness while commending the State government as well as residents of the community for their unflinching support for his administration.

His words: “I am grateful to God, thanks to the people of Eredo for their cooperation and support. I must also express my appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat for their assistance and continued support for my administration. I appreciate every one of you”.

Reeling out his achievements, he disclosed that sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, agriculture, security, tourism, arts and culture, have all been touched in the last 100 days.

Akinloye said: “We have provided effective healthcare services, ensured regular availability of drugs in all our health facilities and purchased an ambulance for the conveyance of referred patients. My administration has embarked on the distribution of 60,000 customised exercise books to pupils in 18 Primary Schools in Eredo”.

“To boost security, we are going to present a new Toyota Sienna Patrol Van and a refurbished MUWON Vigilante Group Patrol Van to the community today. We have employed 101 non-pensionable staff and 50 NCE/B.Ed graduates as teachers for our Primary Schools in Eredo just to mention a few. I must, however, solicit your continued support and cooperation, especially on regular payment of levies/tax, as well as implore you to be security conscious always”, the Chairman submitted.

Mr. Tunde Bakare, the House Leader in Eredo LCDA, thanked the Almighty God for ensuring that a kind-hearted individual, like Akinloye, is overseeing the affairs of the Council, stressing that the Chairman has already made an impact in the lives of residents in his first 100 days in office.

One of the graduates employed by the Eredo Chairman as a Primary School Teacher, Mr. Joseph Ikuseyidun, appreciated the Chairman for his achievements in the past 100 days and thanked him for the employment opportunity, promising to be faithful in discharging his duties.

“I appreciate Hon. Ismail Akinloye because he has done a lot for us in Eredo LCDA since he assumed office as the Chairman of the Council. His performance in the last 100 Days has improved the living standard of residents in our community”, he said.
