The viral fake news and various enquiries being made by some members of the public with regards to speculations that Premier Breweries plc is for sale, has compelled the management of Premier Breweries plc through its Solicitor Dr AA Orunkoya Esq to refute the misinformation. In a press briefing in Onitsha the commercial city of Anambra State,Dr AA Orunkoya Esq debunked the speculation and emphasised that the company is focused on the reactivation of the company and never for once considered any option to sell,assign and transfer the legal and equitable interest of the company to any person whatsoever either by way of merger, acquisition or outright sales. He advised members of the public to discontenace such fake news of sale of Premier Breweries.Dr AA Orunkoya Esq further stated that a formal petition has been sent to the Police and investigation into the matter is ongoing to unravel those behind the fake news.
